Carol Nichols is a serial capitalist with a passion for fast companies and fast horses. Carol has multiple methods for getting companies "out of the starting gate" through her Advisory Board role with Springboard Enterprises and as a member in early stage Angel groups, Golden Seeds and North Texas Angel Network. She is also involved in directing capital to later stage companies via Texas Women Ventures, which she co-founded. Recently, Carol joined Capital One Bank to continue her third decade in banking – leading a team of bankers focused on growing Middle Market companies in North Texas.
Carol is a leader in capital access initiatives for women-business owners and also in mentoring women. Carol was a co-founder of women mentoring groups at both JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America. She was an early advisor to Texas Wall Street Women which now has over 700 members.
The Fort Worth Business Press has recognized Carol as one of the "Great Women of Texas." Carol graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with degrees in Economics and Political Science and she received an MBA from Tulane University.
